Victor H Chou, M.D. has been active in the fields of Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics since obtaining his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completing his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and currently practices urgent care.

Dr. Chou appears as a frequent guest medical expert on WAFB 9 News this Morning, one of the highest rated CBS affiliates in the nation. He currently writes a regular column entitled "Health Matters" for the Livingston Business Journal and has also written a number of articles for professional and non-professional publications including the Journal of the Louisiana State Medical Society, the ACP Internist, MCG Today, Baton Rouge Parents Magazine, and Young Money magazine.

Dr. Chou is also a sought after speaker and lecturer. Most recently, he has presented Grand Rounds at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans and presented a clinical abstract at the American College of Physicians Louisiana/Mississippi chapter annual meeting. He has also discussed national and local health care issues with Louisiana 6th district Congressman Dan Cazyoux and New Orleans Councilwoman Stacy Head.

Dr. Chou has also reviewed thousands of pages of medical records for patients and attorneys all across the country. He has also consulted with numerous health care organizations on a variety of subjects, including physician recruitment, continuing medical education, electronic medical records, and practice guidelines.
